Eighteen year old Peter Fechter, a citizen of the GDR was shot and killed whilst attempting to escape over the Berlin wall in 1962. This film is a recording of a one off re-enactment of this event, the brutal ending of a young life by totalitarian forces, provoking discussion on international human rights and the fight to hold those in power accountable for their actions.
